Who can apply?

Adults seeking substance-free, supportive housing in Detroit.

Is treatment provided?

No, we do not currently provide clinical treatment or detox services onsite. However, we are currently going through the MARR certification process to strengthen our recovery housing services and better support each resident.

What are house rules?

Residents must maintain sobriety, participate in recovery related activities, follow all posted house rules and policies, submit to random drug or urinalysis testing, and attend all scheduled meetings.

Yes, referrals can be submitted through the referral button at the very top of the website or by email referral@guidinglightresidences.com.

What certifications do you have?

We are currently pursuing MARR/NARR certification to align with recognized recovery housing standards. Our goal is to become one of the leading recovery/sober living residences in Detroit, Michigan, by providing safe, structured, substance-free housing that supports accountability, stability, and independent living for individuals in recovery.
